My Dad

The second teacher in my life is my dad. My dad is one person who I know will always be there for me in my life. He grew up in a small town in Colorado and was the second to youngest out of seven children. My dad dropped out of high school during his sophomore year of high school and began working for his dad who was a woodworker. My dad’s dad had a stroke at the age of forty and he also lost one of his sisters while growing up. Eventually he met my mom and they got married and had six kids. I know that no matter what I do my dad has an unconditional love for me. He has taught me that if you work hard for what you want you can get it. He dropped out of school and still has a successful business that he started himself and he was able to provide for his family. He’s taught me that there’s still good in life even when it seems like a lot of bad things are happening.
